Supporting seniors was instilled in Brenda and Greg, at a young age by their mother who encouraged the family to help support the local aging community and make a difference.

Both Brenda and Greg are highly involved in the community activism. They have sat on the Board of Directors for Home Care Ontario, have strong ties to the Alzheimer Society, have strong ties to the Alzheimer Society Peel (including a partnership in the Caregiver ReCharge Program), and focus their efforts on public education and community outreach.

Greg has written several publications that have impacted his community. Trusted Transitions, was presented the Advocacy Award by Home Instead Corporate for his tireless efforts, and since 2009 has driven Home Instead Mississauga to exceed the expectations of over 1000 seniors and their families, by striving for service excellence. Greg's book, What's Next? Navigating Later Life Transitions, was published in 2015 and it served as road map for family caregivers as well as seniors.

Brenda has expressed that being the owner of Home Instead Senior Care allows her to work where she can make an impact in a senior’s life and fulfill her own passion of helping her community. For the last 9 years, has won the Diamond Award for Best In Home Service Provider in the Readers’ Choice Awards.

This is a true passion for both Greg and Brenda. They look forward to continuing to support their local community and the seniors within it.
